Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated a Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in supporting business intelligence tools and financial analyses, data modeling and management, and maintaining data engineering workflows within Databricks. Proficiency in Python and SQL is essential for this role. While prior work experience is advantageous, we welcome applications from recent graduates who demonstrate strong work ethics and a capacity for quick learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Business Intelligence (BI) Tools and Financial Analyses:
• Collaborate with investment and research teams to provide data-driven insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Data Modeling and Management:
• Design and implement scalable data models to support various business use cases.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility across the organization.
• Databricks Workflow Management:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines within the Databricks environment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot workflows to ensure seamless data processing and analysis.
• Daily Data and Workflow Monitoring:
• Oversee daily data operations to ensure timely availability of accurate data.
• Provide support to upper business functions by delivering actionable insights and resolving data-related issues promptly.
• Data Cleaning and Processing:
• Utilize Python and SQL to clean, transform, and analyze large datasets.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to maintain high data standards.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Strong experience with BI tools and financial analysis platforms.
• Proficiency in data modeling techniques and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and managing data workflows within its environment.
• Advanced skills in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Professional Experience:
• Prior experience in a data engineering or analytical role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize data pipelines and workflows.
