The Data Scientist will perform bioinformatics and statistical analysis to molecularly assess the effects of drug treatments in clinical trials and characterize the multiomics including pathomics of rare cancers. Collaborate closely with pathologists, bioinformaticians, biostatisticians, immunologists, computer scientists, and clinicians. Expand/develop data analytic pipeline/capacities/standards. Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and documentation. Supervise junior researchers (including those in the training programs).
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

* Please instrumental role in scientific dissemination, including being co-authors and lead authors in manuscripts
* Make sure work (i.e., code/protocols) is well-documented, transparent and transferable to team members
Supervise junior researchers (including those in the training programs)
* Contribute to training/education of junior members including those are new to the team and those in affiliated training programs
EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Computational Biology, or related field.
Preferred: Master's or PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Computational Biology, or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Three years experience in scientific software or industry development/analysis. With Master's degree, one years experience required. With PhD, no experience required.
Preferred: Experience in the biotech, pharma, or related.
