Starting with the role:


We are looking for a Data Scientist who will analyze complex datasets, extract actionable insights, develop forecasting models, and implement machine learning algorithms.


During your day you will:


  • Ensure data integrity and quality through robust processing, cleaning, and validation procedures, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that align with business objectives.
  • Develop, train, and implement forecasting models to solve business challenges and improve operational efficiency.
  • Use statistics to identify patterns, make predictions, and derive insights from datasets.
  • Collaborate with business and external stakeholders to translate requirements into data-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Continuously evaluate, refine, and optimize existing models to maintain accuracy, performance, and relevance in changing environments.
  • Create and maintain interactive data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate results and insights to stakeholders.
  • Research and integrate state-of-the-art techniques and tools to enhance analytical and visualization capabilities to drive innovation.


What you need to stand out:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Technology or other Science (Physics/ Mathematics)
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics or other Science (Physics/ Mathematics)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Data Science, Data Analysis or other related fields, preferably within the energy industry
  • Programming languages: Python, R
  • Tools: Jupyter, PyCharm, Streamlit,
  • Databases: MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Excellent understanding of data science principles and best practices, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development principles
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and hypothesis testing
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written, in Greek and English languages
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results oriented environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences
