We’re partnering with an iconic restaurant chain renowned for its legacy, culture, and commitment to innovation. As they expand their data capabilities, they’re hiring a Data Scientist / Analyst to help optimize operations, understand customer behavior, and drive strategic decisions across locations nationwide.

THE ROLE

In this high-impact role, you will serve as the technical arm of the marketing department, laying the foundation for the company’s data science and analytics function. You'll be responsible for building data models, leading technical initiatives, and starting the analytics team from the ground up.

You’ll apply analytical rigor to real-world business problems—leveraging customer, sales, and operational data to uncover insights that improve efficiency, enhance guest experience, and fuel growth. You’ll work closely with stakeholders in marketing, operations, and finance, playing a key role in the brand’s continued evolution through data.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or similar roles
• Strong Python skills for modeling, automation, and data transformation
• Hands-on experience with traffic decomposition modeling and forecasting techniques
• Proven ability to productionalize models and analytics workflows
• Experience launching or scaling data functions, preferably within marketing or consumer insights teams
• Background in brick-and-mortar consumer analytics or retail/hospitality marketing
• Strong communication skills—able to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Broad tech stack
• Familiarity with SQL and BI tools for building and maintaining dashboards
