You will work in an international team with team members from +25 countries and clients across the globe. You will work closely with the data science team and in particular the lead data scientist to take best practices in responsible AI and turn them into actionable improvements for AI model development and deployment. Your team You will work closely with and report to Aaron, our lead data scientist. You will join our Data Science team where you will also collaborate with our talented and impact-driven people: Rihab, Anna, & Divabelle. Your impact You will assist in researching best practices for the development of a Responsible AI framework for SkillLab heavily guided by the EU AI ACT. You will assist in implementing this research-driven framework. In doing so, you will ensure that our product continues to be socially conscious and helpful for our users. You will proactively document these processes from A-Z to ensure transparency and help improve future processes. Requirements Is this you? You have a study background in Responsible AI and are familiar with the AI Act You are familiar with Python, git, SQL You have experience with machine learning You are very interested in explainability and transparency approaches to AI You have a strong attention to details and able to work well both independently when needed and within a team You are collaborative, possess a learning mindset, and have strong problem solving skills You are enthusiastic about AI that is socially meaningful and impactful. Requirements You are eligible to work in the Netherlands. We don’t support visa applications for applicants outside the EU. You are currently enrolled as a student or graduated within the last 12 months. You are able to commit to a six-month full-time (40 hour/week) internship. We envision a start-date as soon as possible. Extra awesome You have experience deploying AI models You are familiar with Responsible AI techniques outside of the EU Benefits This is a paid internship. If you live in Amsterdam or relocate to Amsterdam during your internship, then the monthly reimbursement will be 1,000 EUR. You can do the internship by living in another city in the Netherlands and commuting to the office 1-2 days per week. In this case, the monthly reimbursement will be 700 EUR. SkillLab covers your train commuting expenses to Amsterdam. You will have a personal learning budget to invest in your professional development.
