The Data Science Engineer role at L.E.K. Consulting is dedicated to developing and implementing data science solutions for the pharmaceutical sector. This position focuses on applying machine learning models for data analysis, predictive modeling, and recommendation algorithms, as well as leveraging large language models (LLMs) to create AI-driven applications. The ideal candidate will translate business needs into technical specifications, develop and fine-tune algorithms, and optimize models to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct advanced data analysis and predictive modeling using machine learning techniques suited to pharmaceutical applications.

Develop and implement recommendation algorithms to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.

Build and apply large language model-based AI applications to support specific use cases.

Translate business requirements into algorithmic language and develop appropriate machine learning solutions.

Continuously adjust and optimize model parameters to ensure accurate and relevant results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field; a master’s degree or above is preferred.
• Solid foundation in data science and machine learning with practical application experience.

• Strong communication skills for explaining technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
