Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Reporting Analyst to join our team in Hamilton, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in managing IT assets, analyzing data, and overseeing SharePoint site administration. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to support various reporting and system management tasks.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain data reports using tools such as Cognos or Tableau to meet organizational needs.
Create and manage SharePoint sites, collaborating with users to establish site administration and functionality.
Perform detailed data analysis and asset management, ensuring accuracy and integrity in tracking IT assets.
Handle system administration tasks, including user access management, system maintenance, and testing upgrades.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues across systems and applications, providing user support as needed.
Conduct data research projects to support business objectives and generate actionable insights.
Manage ad hoc projects such as maintaining computer inventory, updating Drupal websites, and working with access databases.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and user guides.
Provide training sessions to users, ensuring they understand system functionalities and reporting tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable solutions.
Requirements
Proficiency in data reporting tools such as Cognos or Tableau.
Strong experience with SharePoint site creation and administration.
Solid understanding of IT asset management and data analysis techniques.
Expertise in system administration, including user access management and system maintenance.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Proven ability to manage multiple ad hoc projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train users and document processes clearly.
Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as Apache Spark, Tableau, Jira, and Agile Scrum.
