We are looking for a Data Data Quality & Governance Specialist to join our international team based in a beautiful office in the historic center of Rotterdam.

Our SaaS solutions connect continuously with hundreds of thousands of Charge Points and service nearly a million EV Drivers. We are running high traffic, high load environments in a rapidly changing market requiring constant and rapid innovation.

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Data Quality & Governance Specialist to join our dynamic team in Rotterdam.

Your role

For our newly formed Data Center of Excellence we are looking for a Data Quality & Governance Specialist. It is a hybrid role that blends strategic governance leadership with hands-on data quality work. You’ll help shape our data culture, implement governance processes, and ensure our data is accurate, complete, and ready for decision-making. We're looking for someone with a strong vision on how to properly implement data quality and governance and who is excited to pull up their sleeves and make that vision a reality.

Your Main Responsibilities Are

Governance:

• Define and implement data governance frameworks, standards, and policies.
• Establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models across the business.
• Build and maintain a data catalogue to promote consistent understanding.
• Partner with business counterparts (e.g. data engineering, product, finance, legal) to align governance practices.
• Support regulatory and compliance initiatives (e.g. GDPR, ISO27001, MiFID II).
  
  

Quality:

• Define and implement data quality rules and monitoring processes across key domains.
• Profile, assess, and report on the quality of data across systems and sources.
• Lead data cleansing initiatives and root cause analysis of quality issues.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs for data quality health.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to embed quality checks into pipelines.
  
  

You recognize yourself in:

• 4+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or related data management roles.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles.
• Hands-on experience with data quality tools
• Understanding of data privacy and regulatory compliance standards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
• Proven track record of driving cross-functional initiatives and influencing without authority.
• Enjoy working in a hybrid situation, with 2+ days at the office
