We are looking for a versatile Data Analytics & QA Specialist to support analytics initiatives across our medical and dental billing operations. This role will serve as a key link between the production team, development team, and management, ensuring that data pipelines, reports, and dashboards are accurate, accessible, and actionable. You will lead efforts in data automation, dashboard development, quality assurance, and internal training — with the goal of making data-driven decision-making seamless for all teams involved.
Job Description:
Build and automate workflows in Google Sheets, Apps Script, Excel VBA, and SQL to streamline analytics and reporting processes.
Develop clear, user-friendly dashboards and reports (Google Data Studio, Excel, or other tools) for medical and dental billing data.
Use Python to write scripts for data transformation, auditing, and automation tasks across multiple billing platforms.
Bridge the gap between the production and development teams by validating datasets, performing QA checks on data outputs, and flagging inconsistencies.
Conduct ongoing QA of reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity and alignment with source systems.
Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure data meets operational needs.
Support and train internal users (including managers) on how to interpret dashboards and use reporting tools effectively.
Work with data from diverse billing systems (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Kareo, EClinicalWorks) and assist with integration or data migration projects.
Maintain compliance with healthcare data privacy standards, including HIPAA.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a data analytics or data operations role, preferably in the healthcare or dental industry.
Strong technical skills in:
Google Sheets & Google Apps Script
Excel VBA
SQL for querying and validation
Python for scripting and data QA
Detail-oriented mindset with hands-on experience in QA/testing of datasets and reports.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and support non-technical team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with dashboard tools such as Google Data Studio, Power BI, or similar.
Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM), coding standards (CPT, ICD, CDT), and insurance workflows.
Experience with QA methodologies or tools for data validation (e.g., automated checks, data audits).
Understanding of EHR/EMR integrations and billing data pipelines.
