Your Responsibilities
Data Analysts support the Data Analytics team by helping to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of data-driven initiatives within the Series. They analyze data, provide actionable insights, and support internal stakeholders in making informed decisions. They work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure reporting is accurate, timely and of high quality. Data Analysts develop and maintain Quality Control processes and standards to uphold data reliability. While they receive guidance on various tasks, they are also gaining exposure to more complex analytical projects, expanding their expertise within the role.

- Conduct data analytics projects and ad-hoc analyses to generate insights which support stakeholders in decision-making and solution development.
- Utilize scripting, query tools, and automation techniques to implement data standards, extract and validate data, and generate reports, dashboards, and usable metrics.
- Ensure data integrity by creating and maintaining data sets, monitoring quality, troubleshooting issues, and identifying root causes with recommended solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure effective communication, process reliability, and data quality across analytics projects, providing both administrative and analytical support.
- Provide business logic for data mappings to support reporting and analytics.
- Deliver training and support to internal clients on data tools and literacy while maintaining a high standard of client service and adapting communication styles to audience needs.
- Recommend process improvements, policies, procedures, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum and preferred education, experience level, training, licenses, and certifications necessary for success in this position. The Job Description Support Guide offers some standard thoughts to assist.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Insurance, Health Policy, Information Technology, or equivalent education/work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in healthcare data analysis, with proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with data visualization tools, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, manipulate, and validate large datasets, ensuring data integrity and quality.
- Solid understanding of data sources, processes, formulas, and reporting outputs.
- Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with the ability to improve processes and contribute to complex problem-solving initiatives.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to diverse stakeholders effectively.
