What we expect?

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline preferably Telecommunication, Electronics, Electricity or Computer Science,
• At least 5 years hands on experience of network planning across large scale IP, MPLS Technologies and Metro Ethernet Platforms (SP, ISP, MSO, etc.),
• Significant experience in IP/MPLS network planning and operation activities on multi-vendor environments,
• Extensive understanding of Layer 3/4 protocols and behaviors and hierarchical routing principles,
• Extensive understanding in planning & implementation of routing protocol including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, RSVP-TE, LDP, IPv6,
• Hands-on experience in planning & implementation of VPN technologies, including VPLS, L3VPN, L2TPv3, VPLS,
• Strong knowledge of QoS/CoS/DSCP principals and traffic engineering applications,
• Extensive hands-on experience in router & switch platforms including Cisco ASR9k, Juniper MX, Alcatel 7750, Cisco Nexus, Juniper EX/QFX, Huawei NE8000, etc.
• Experience in managing a high volume of activity, and a large number of projects, in a fast-paced growing organization. Ability to self-manage and prioritize workload,
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills appropriate to both technical and management clients,
• Solid analytical skills to solve medium to complex technical problems,
• Fluency in English,
• Being analytical and proactive,

What Does the Group Data Network Engineer Role Do at Turkcell?

The Video Platforms and Streaming Solutions Engineer role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including network design strategy, network engineering, implementation, migration planning, service design, proof of concept testing, optimization services, and development of training.

• This position will be required to work in a consultative manner with vendors, project management, product development and management team to scope and deliver professional service projects, which can include the following responsibilities:
• Tracking new technologies in market and preparing business cases for potential investments,
• Producing HLD/LLD with the best architecture available for TV+ Service,
• Producing network implementation and migration plans,
• Managing budget, techincal tender, procurement and delivery process,
• Managing deployment of equipment and service configurations,
• Test and integrates IP/MPLS routers and swicthes of different types of vendors,
• Plans and process FNI and POC phases of the MPLS products,
• Works closely with operation teams in order to operate TV+ service network,
• Test, FNI and Support IP/MPLS networks in various stages of deployment,
• Capacity planning & managing upgrade/expansion projects and investment planning,
• Produce and review technical documentation,
• The ideal candidate is highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, adapt at managing expectations, and able to set and adjust priorities as needed while working,
• Work to help solve challenging issues.
