Our client is looking to hire a Lead Data Engineer/Manager who can help shape the strategy and implement technological advancements which are both modernised and scalable.

The firm are a unique practice who are leaders in specialist field, they are established and moving through a new digital transformation which included significant investment in their new Data & Analytics function.

The firm are small with around 350 users and require someone who can be diverse in their skillset and contribute to a variety of data related projects for the firm through their transformation programme.

Experience required:

• Expertise in cloud platforms - ideally Azure and data processing services.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or Scala.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data mesh architectures.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in data analytics.
• Experience with metadata management, data lineage tracking, and data cataloging.
• Understanding of serverless data processing, event-driven architectures, and modern data stacks.
