Role overview:

As a the Head of Data Practice, you will shape and drive Glue Reply’s data strategy, ensuring data is leveraged as a strategic asset. In this role, you will lead key functions including data design and modelling, data governance and assurance, information analytics, and the development of data science capabilities. You’ll play a key role in delivering product-centric solutions to our clients, through the management of customers and generating new business development opportunities.

You will be providing expert client-side consultancy, mentoring, design authority project delivery or acting as a “trusted advisor” and/or “subject matter expert” to clients and internal teams alike. Your relationships will run from CxO management level through to programme management, project development and support team. Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team, providing strategic direction, guidance, and performance management while championing the value of data
• Define and implement Glue Reply’s data strategy, aligning with business objectives and ensuring robust data governance for quality and compliance
• Provide technical leadership in BI development, data design, governance, and program execution, ensuring successful data initiative delivery
• Develop and grow the Data Analytics and AI function at Glue and assist in the development of Glue Reply intellectual property, achieving this by working as part of a multi-disciplinary team using the appropriate frameworks
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to position data as a core asset and foster cross-functional collaboration for strategic outcomes
• Manage the business development activities within a client; support / manage the delivery of proposals through the shaping and designing of solution architectures/strategies for Glue Reply; manage strong long-term business relationships and accounts

About the candidate:

• Bachelor's degree (2.1 or higher) in Computer Science, Technology-related, or Business/Management-related fields
• 8+ years in technology consulting, including product delivery, data expertise, and knowledge of solutions like security, data management, and cloud
• Proficient in BI, data design, analytics, reporting, and data quality management, with strong governance and compliance knowledge
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy on delivering outcomes that exceed client expectations
• Expertise in enterprise architecture, development best practices, and quick decision-making based on complex data analysis
• Proven track record of leading & supporting, business development opportunities that are architecture led and leveraging Glue IP
• You have a proven track record with people management that is aimed at motivating and developing a team and their capabilities
• Demonstrates and maintains a broad knowledge of technology solutions, current trends and techniques and actively communicates new technology developments
