Key Result Areas And Activities

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
• Work closely with business stakeholders, Business Analysts (BAs), and technical teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Engage in detailed discussions with business users to define data integration and transformation rules.
• Source-Target Mapping:
• Develop detailed source-target mapping documents, including transformation logic, data flow diagrams, and data lineage.
• Review and validate mapping documents with business stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
• Technical Leadership:
• Lead the design and architecture of ETL processes using Informatica, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Provide guidance and support to Informatica developers and troubleshoot development issues.
• Data Integration & Architecture:
• Design and implement data integration solutions utilizing Informatica, Oracle, and Azure Data Lake.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reusability.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of data integration projects.
• Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

Work And Technical Experience

Informatica Cloud / IICS: 2-3 yrs

Informatica PowerCenter: 8+ yrs

SQL: 7+ yrs

PLSQL: 7+ yrs

ETL / Data warehouse Architecting: 5+ yrs

Data Modelling: 1+ yr

Data Analysis and Profiling: At least some exposure

Database Table Design: At least some exposure.

Must Have Skill Set

• Excellent understanding of ETL/ELT principles and the tools/technologies used to implement them.
• Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC DI.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Basic understanding of Azure Data Lake and cloud-based data storage solutions.
• Experience in data modelling, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Understanding of data governance and data quality principles with proven ability to create detailed source-target mapping documents.
  
  

Good To Have Skill Set

• Certifications in Informatica, Oracle, or Azure
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and project management tools like Jira.
• Understanding of good practices

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years working with Informatica.
• 3+ years of experience as an ETL/Data Architect.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
• Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods
