Crossfill is searching for a versatile and experienced Data & Infrastructure Engineer!

About the Role

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Data & Infrastructure Engineer to join our early-stage, rapidly growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of building and maintaining robust data integrations such as with Google Search, scalable APIs for collecting tracking data, and high-performance data pipelines to power our product intelligence capabilities. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our Kubernetes-based infrastructure.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in software engineering, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure. You are passionate about building reliable systems and enabling data-driven decision-making.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust integrations to collect and process data from various third-party data sources. Normalize, enrich, and store external data for use in downstream applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency APIs to ingest tracking and behavioral event data from client applications.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of data models and storage solutions optimized for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team in managing and maintaining our Kubernetes cluster, including deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring its overall health and uptime. Help deploy, scale, and secure our services using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools.

Who you are

• Proven experience in software development and data integrations, with a solid grasp of data engineering, backend systems, performance and scalability.
• Strong systems and backend engineering skills. Proficiency in working with large datasets and distributed computing systems.
• Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and containerized deployments. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with Go, C++ or other languages is a plus
• Able to solve hard problems independently, while meshing with a team to accomplish shared goals
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field
