Role: Data Governance Program Manager

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

The IT Project Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving IT program delivery, managing cross-functional teams, and executing large-scale, multi-faceted projects. This role requires a strategic leader who can think critically, challenge the status quo, and ensure successful outcomes in a fast-paced, ever evolving technological landscape. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in a related technology delivery, program management role with commensurate people management experience
• Data governance/ quality tooling experience is a must.
• Capital Markets experience is a must.
• Oversees the implementation of data governance tooling adhering to data governance frameworks, policies and standards to ensure data quality, privacy, security and compliance.
• Manages the implementation and optimization of data governance tools and collaborates with product, technology and business teams to integrate these tools into the broader program delivery landscape

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
