The Maples Group looks to add a Cayman Islands based Data Governance Manager to our Risk team to support the Head of Data Governance and invites eager and qualified candidates to apply. The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Data Governance in discharging their duties in establishing and overseeing the data governance program for the Maples Group, with significant focus on the controls associated with the creation, receipt, maintenance, use and disposition of records.
About the Role
The Data Governance Manager reports to the Head of Data Governance, within the wider Risk function led by the Chief Risk Officer. The primary focus of the role is to support the delivery of iterative maturity for our data governance and records management framework, enhancing best practice and ensuring compliance. However, the role sits within the risk, information security and audit team and, as a result, will entail participation in activities associated with delivery of the team's broader strategic agenda. Additionally, the role will incorporate significant interaction with a wide range of colleagues across all parts of Maples Group and collaborating on a number of initiatives to support the business's growth.
