JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our large Retail Clients in Vancouver BC. This Business Analyst will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing data management strategies. The role involves gathering and prioritizing requirements from various stakeholders, evaluating business processes, and creating insightful reports to guide decision-making. They will lead collaborative efforts across different teams, ensuring clear communication and effective implementation of data governance policies. With extensive experience and technical expertise, they will drive initiatives that enhance data stewardship and governance. They will do so through supporting with training session enactment to convey the value of DG policies and Collibra usage.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

5+ years experience as a Business Analyst within Data Governance Experience with Collibra as a Data Governance Tool Strong understanding of Data Governance operating models (ie federated / centralized systems) - Strong understanding of Data Stewardship - Understanding policy rollout and supporting training sessions & COE sessions for Data Governance - Experience with Snowflake, Unity Catalog and Power BI - Communicative and collaborative worker with a passion for data governance
