Job Title: Data Governance Analyst

Note: Need only Candidate with knowledge of Anomalo or Alation – with the skillset of a Data Engineering knowledge

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Manage the ongoing operation and usage of data catalogue and data quality tools for C&P Central Data Office and C&P businesses not limited to but including the following:
• Central administrative activities
• User onboarding and training as required
• Dealing with user queries, issues and problems, liaising with management and vendors as required
• Assisting users when they need help and guidance using the tools
• Auditing use and addressing issues
• Supporting reporting solutions (tool usage, etc)
• Assisting in running user forums/community sessions
• Supporting data governance forums and associated data governance processes Requirements
• Experience in data governance
• Experience with data catalogue tooling / meta data management / knowledge management
• Experience with data quality tooling / data quality rules
• Pro-active mindset, making opportunities and delivering value
• Capable of independently managing tasks and responsibilities
• Able to engage and collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders using a variety of communication methods
• Understanding of data in general and some of the use cases and situations they are likely to come across
