Russell Tobin's client, an American multinational financial services company, is hiring a Data Entry Specialist in Minneapolis, MN 55402 (Hybrid)
Location: Minneapolis, MN 55402 (Hybrid)
Work Type: Hybrid (Training 2–4 weeks onsite full-time, then mandatory onsite Tuesday–Thursday weekly)
Duration: 08+ Months with the possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $15.00 to $15.96 per hour
Schedule: Standard Business Hours
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume data entry tasks with precision and accuracy
- Manually key and upload Excel files into internal processing tools
- Review and validate data for completeness and accuracy
- Work independently to complete daily workload within deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data responsibly
- Collaborate with internal teams when necessary to resolve data discrepancies
Required Skills:
- Proven data entry experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity while handling repetitive tasks
Preferred Skills:
- Strong time management and prioritization abilities
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with banking, financial services, or claims processing
- Experience managing work queues efficiently
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- No minimum education beyond high school necessary
- Previous experience in mortgage, banking, or data entry roles preferred
Additional Information:
- This is a non-customer-facing, back-office support position
- Public transportation is available; parking costs are the contractor’s responsibility
- No mandatory overtime; optional during peak periods
- Possibility for conversion within the company, though not guaranteed
