We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting data into our systems, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will spend a significant portion of your day working with various databases and spreadsheets, which requires a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and update data into the company database with a high degree of accuracy.
Verify data by reviewing, correcting, and checking for inconsistencies or errors.
Maintain accurate records of data changes and updates for audit purposes.
Assist in the preparation of reports by compiling and organizing data from various sources.
Respond to internal and external data inquiries in a timely manner.
Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
Strong typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently proficiently.
