Description We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer/Software Engineer III to join our team. This role involves hands-on data engineering work, ensuring data processes align with best practices, and guiding junior developers as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL processes. A strong background in reporting and analytics is also highly desired. Required Skills
Proven experience in data engineering Expertise in data warehousing technologies (3-5 years of experience required) Hands-on experience with ETL processes (3-5 years of experience required) Ability to lead projects, including requirements gathering, designing solutions, and implementing industry best practices Experience mentoring junior developers and ensuring adherence to set designs Strong proficiency in reporting tools, preferably Power BI or similar analytics platforms Hands-on technical experience, making up approximately 80% of the role Desired Skills
Proficiency in SQL-based database systems Experience with ETL tools, particularly transitioning from legacy systems to modern solutions Strong data modeling skills, including familiarity with industry-standard modeling techniques Background in the insurance industry (a plus but not required) Compensation
Pay Range: $105,000 - $150,000 Benefits
