Description:

The Denzel Group, an award-winning IT Recruiting firm, has been tasked by a long-term client to identify a Data Engineering Manager to join their team. In this role you will manage and mentor a team of Data Engineers, oversee data engineering projects from conception to completion, work closely with cross functional teams to understand data needs and delivery solutions, and implement data quality checks and governance policies to ensure data accuracy and consistency. An ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, extensive development experience with SQL, PYTHON, and ETLs, as well as proven management experience.

This role will require an onsite presence.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and PYTHON; hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. (Preferred)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. (Preferred)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
