AWS expertise , hands on knowledge is good to have but mainly an end to end design expertise and solid understanding of data integration, modelling, data landscape etc are mandatory.

An ideal candidate is someone with a solid data engineering background, with a data design experience.

• Proven experience in building data solutions using AWS native services at enterprise level. Key AWS skills we are after , but not limited to are AWS Glue,S3, Redshift, Athena, Airflow, Apache Iceberg, Lambda, EMR & other AWS-native data services .
• Demonstrated experience in designing complex data pipelines in federated data mesh architecture(“Data products “ , “Data as a product”)
• Solid understanding on traditional & modern data architecture .Experience in Data modelling tools like Erwin.
• Design experience with streaming frameworks such as Kafka.
• Ability to effectively communicate with business stakeholders and technical leadership groups.
• Experience in designing data solutions on Big data platforms.
• Preference is to candidate who have prior Banking or Financial Industry experience. Financial Crime/ AML/ Transaction Monitoring/ Payments functional knowledge is a plus.
