Data Engineer - SQL / Python

Location: Hybrid DFW metro in Southlake, TX - 4/3 schedule

Type: Contract to Hire

Pay: $50 - $55/hour

Visa: USC or GC Holder, must be able to work W2 and convert with no sponsorship!

Must have experience!

• 2-3 years of experience
• Strong SQL and basic knowledge of Python
• Any Snowflake, Databricks, and API work is a plus!

What you'll be doing:

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the data pipelines and infrastructure that support our data-driven decision-making processes. You will collaborate with other team members to ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of our data systems. The right candidate will be equipped with skills that allow them to be self-sufficient in the process of finding data sources, performing ETL, conducting Data Modeling, T-SQL coding, analyzing, and then presenting data results to their team and relevant stakeholders through BI tools such as Tableau. The role requires a high degree of autonomy during the research, planning and execution phases; therefore the candidate must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind-set and have exceptional problem solving skills.
