Experience: 4+ Years

Must-Have Skills:

SQL (Basic to Advanced):

• Strong expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
• Proficiency in:
• SELECT, WHERE, GROUP BY, JOIN operations
• Aggregate functions and data roll-up/drill-down
• Window functions: ROW_NUMBER, RANK, DENSE_RANK, LEAD, LAG
• Stored Procedures and User-Defined Functions (UDFs)
• Query performance optimization and troubleshooting

Snowflake Data Platform:

• In-depth understanding of Snowflake Architecture
• Experience with deploying Snowflake on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Data Modeling: Fact and Dimension table design
• Database Security & Access Control
• Metadata Management and governance
• Advanced Snowflake features:
• Time Travel
• Zero-Copy Cloning
• Data Pipeline Automation using Snowpipe

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Python scripting for data engineering tasks
• Familiarity with Tableau reporting and integration with Snowflake
