Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement and monitor the data strategy, architecture and pipeline, quality controls which include right data collection, application of data analytics, extract business-critical insights, technology and infrastructure implications and data ownership, privacy & security issues.
• Plan, implement and support cross-functional projects using complex data analysis, data mining and data modelling to discover business insights.
• Plan and prepare for delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and performance metrics for proper presentation and easy understanding of the insights.
• Plan and implement the processes for data intake, validating and mining as well as modelling and visualization for patterns, trends identification, correlations in complex data from multiple sources to establish the solution, test, implement and ensure that the deliverables are within agreed timeframes.
• Build algorithms and prototypes and explore way to enhance data quality and reliability.
• Plan and perform market research, benchmarking on the best practices and knowledge sharing to the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, Data Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience as data engineer, data scientist or data analyst.
• Strong background and hands-on experience in data query and programming languages e.g. SQL, R, Python, SAS, Java.
• Experience with data analytics tool e.g. Power BI, Tableau.
• Familiar with cloud computing tools such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Big Query.
• Sound understanding of the evolving digital trend and technology
• Ability to lead and drive execution of data analytics initiatives.
• Possess critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation and communication skills, keeping the balance within business and people focus.
