Your role Data Engineer - UBS Business Solutions US LLC - Morrisville, NC: * Maintain both on-premises and cloud-based data platforms by implementing upgrades, migrations, and security patches to ensure optimal performance and adherence to security protocols. * Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines to extract data from diverse sources, transform it into usable formats, and load it into designated target systems. * Optimize data pipelines for efficiency and scalability to handle growing data volume. * Implement robust data quality checks and procedures throughout the data pipeline to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. * Analyze data quality issues and implement solutions to maintain data integrity. * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and design and develop user-friendly dashboards and APIs that provide clear and accessible insight into data. * Automate data workflows for data processing, ingestion, and analysis to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and minimize manual intervention. * Develop applications capable of processing data in real-time, enabling faster insight and decision-making. * Integrate various data technologies, including data lake, data warehouses, and stream processing frameworks, to create a robust and comprehensive data ecosystem. * Work with engineers, hardware specialists, platform services, and operations teams to provide seamless data management and infrastructure support. * Apply knowledge of DevOps and real-time messaging and data processing using Kafka and utilize Hadoop, Snowflake, Azure, IBM MQ, GraphQL, PowerShell scripting, Java, Python, C#, Jenkins, CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jira, and SonarQube.
