Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled data professional to join our business intelligence team at DOWC. The Data Engineer will be responsible for providing data analytics and reporting solutions associated with the different facets of our business. The projects may range from bulk importing and manipulation of data to preparation and generation of reports, all with scalability in mind. The ideal candidate will collaborate with different business functions by coordinating, understanding and implementing technical solutions to fulfill the reporting requirements and standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Standardize routine reports using Power BI and/or SQL.
• Develop new and existing reports in Power BI and/or Excel
• Use Python or other tools to automate new and existing processes.
• Develop ETL processes and/or data lakes to support reporting processes.
• Prepare clear and concise documentation of all work performed.
• Perform clear, concise, and accurate data presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Analyze client's business performance and provide additional insights through data.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as needed.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Data Engineer.
• Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science or relevant field.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, and Python are required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English.
• Must be able to present clear and accurate presentations to leadership.
• Excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
• Must be proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in a complex, dynamic environment.
