As a Data Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and managing our data infrastructure, ensuring data accessibility, security, and reliability. You will collaborate across departments to understand data needs and support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and implement data models, visualizations, and analyses to drive strategic decisions.

  • Develop and uphold data standards, procedures, and definitions for governance.

  • Optimize data intake, validation, mining, and engineering processes.

  • Promote data literacy and engage stakeholders in data-related initiatives.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through quality assurance processes.

  • Document technical designs, workflows, and best practices.

  • Manage vendor relationships related to data management tools and services.

  • Support the development and maintenance of system integrations.

  • Champion the adoption of data-driven practices across the organization.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement solutions.

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in technology and data analytics.

 Qualifications:

  • Able to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces evolving tools, technologies, and business needs.

  • Brings energy, professionalism, and a solutions-focused mindset to every challenge.

  • Able to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

  • Comfortable navigating and maintaining older systems while helping transition to modern data environments.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role.

  • Proficiency in database structures, data mining, data segmentation, and data warehousing solutions.

  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, Java, and data warehousing platforms (Snowflake preferred).

  • Experience with ETL tools such as Qlik, and dashboarding tools like Tableau (preferred).

  • Familiarity with construction-focused software (e.g., CMiC, Autodesk Construction Cloud) is a plus.
