Position Description

Designs, builds, and maintains the infrastructure needed to collect, store, and analyze healthcare data.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Designs, builds, and maintains the infrastructure needed to collect, store, and analyze data sets.
  • Monitors data integrity and accuracy.
  • Assist in the automation of data processes.
  • Provides advice and consultation on new tools and technologies, as well as troubleshooting.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and trends in data engineering.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of related experience and training OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal six (6) years.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Data Engineer (2 years) or 3 years of experience as a developer or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with data engineering concepts, such as ETL, data modeling, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
  • Experience working with databases (e.g., SQL Server) and implementing data access layers.
