Freelance Data Engineer – IT Consultancy (Helsinki, Finland)

Working for a leading IT Consultnacy for a major enterprise client, out of Helsinki Finland, our client is looking to onboard a Data Engineer with the below tech stack.

Job Description:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance with best practices.
• Develop ETL processes using PySpark, Informatica, and Airflow.
• Support and improve data platforms and databases for advanced analytics.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and JFrog for deployment and version control.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time and batch data processing.

Required Skills:

• 6-8 years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficient in PySpark, Apache Airflow, Kubernetes.
• Experience with Informatica Powercentre, Oracle SQL, and Docker.
• Familiar with CI/CD processes and tools like GitHub Actions.

Essential Requirements:

• Must have Finnish security clearance (or eligible for it).

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, AWS.
• Proficient in Unix.
