Sr. Data Engineer

Duration: 6+ months Contract

Location: Des Moines, IA (Hybrid 3 days onsite a week)

CANDIDATES NEEDS TO BE LOCAL TO DES MOINES, IA OR NEAR BY LOCATIONS OR NEAR BY STATES.

Day-to-day responsibilities look like:

They would be working closely with our team to help develop solutions to be implemented in our D&A space. The work involved will be taking source data, doing the necessary ETL (extract, transform, load) to help build curated data products for our analysts to use in their insights. There will be both independent as well as pairing opportunities based on feature size and existing skillsets. Often times we are also consulting with our analysts and data scientists as they also explore AWS services. They will do most work in python, AWS and Snowflake. Additionally, a differentiator for this role is I'm looking for this Sr position to help mentor others on the team, help ensure that Principal's best practices are followed in our design solutions. Modeling experience in ERWIN is a plus as well.
