Contract Data Engineer - Databricks Specialist

Are you a Data Engineer with a passion for Databricks? We're looking for someone just like you to join an exciting biotech organization in Boston, MA, on an initial 6 month contract basis.

• You'll design and build data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks to support a wide range of projects.
• Work closely with a flexible team to create scalable and efficient data solutions that enable smarter decision-making.
• Help optimize and fine-tune cloud-based systems (Azure or AWS) and make sure everything runs smoothly.
• Be the go-to person for troubleshooting and resolving data issues as they arise, keeping everything stable and performing at its best.
• Document your work and share your knowledge, ensuring that our solutions are easy to maintain and scale over time.
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• Solid experience with Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake - you know how to make these tools work for you.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a focus on data engineering best practices.
• A good understanding of cloud environments (especially Azure or AWS) and experience building data systems in the cloud.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to take on challenges in a fast-moving environment.
• While experience in biotech or life sciences is a plus, it's not a dealbreaker - we're excited to see how you can apply your skills to this sector!
