We are looking for a Data Engineer to join us and to improve the process of data governance and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and development of Big Data analytical applications from product vision to implementation.
• Design, support and continuous enhancement of project code base, continuous integration pipeline, etc.
• Investigation and resolution of performance and stability issues in production systems
• Collaboration with global distributed team, corporate and customer’s IT services
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering with exceptional skills in Python
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets and relational databases
• Expertise in AWS services, especially Glue, Athena, MWAA (Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow)
• Experience with streaming platforms (Kafka or Firehose)
• Experience with third-party solutions and APIs
  
  

Nice to have

• Proficiency in data modelling techniques and best practices
• Experience in implementing data contracts
• Experience in applying data governance policies
• Experience with data quality frameworks (Great expectations, Soda)
• Familiarity with the data mesh architecture and its principles
