About the Role: As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and deploying data engineering workloads in Databricks on Azure, ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of cloud resources. You will collaborate with business lines and data modellers to translate requirements into efficient data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage data engineering workloads in Databricks on Azure.
• Work with business units to understand data ingestion and engineering requirements.
• Design and develop Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines.
• Implement medallion architecture for data management in Azure Data Lake.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and support multi-cloud integrations.
• Identify and mitigate potential operational risks with the platform lead.

What We're Looking For:

• 5-7 years of experience in data engineering and transformation on cloud platforms.
• 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in Azure Data Engineering and Databricks.
• Expertise in data warehouse workloads at the enterprise level.
• Proficiency in PySpark for Spark distributed computing workloads.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Experience with Azure cloud deployments and native monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of application self-healing solutions.
