Required Qualifications

- Practical knowledge of Power BI for developing interactive dashboards.
- Experience with mid-level database programming and SQL coding proficiency.
- Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of data loading and retrieval processes.
- Proven experience with version control tools such as GIT or TFS.
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in processing large datasets.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Bash scripting for advanced automation tasks.
- Familiarity with additional reporting tools such as SSRS.
- Background or understanding of the healthcare or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Database and T-SQL Development: Design and refine procedures, functions, and T-SQL scripts to enhance database performance and scalability.
- SSIS Package Management: Develop, troubleshoot, and support SSIS packages to streamline data integration and ETL processes.
- Data Visualization and Reporting: Craft, analyze, and maintain Tableau reports to provide actionable business insights.
- Data Handling: Conduct deep analysis, research, and manipulation of large datasets to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Cross-Platform Data Integration: Utilize programming skills to seamlessly import and export data across heterogeneous database systems.
- Automated Monitoring: Develop scripts to oversee data integrity within tables and automate the monitoring process for proactive issue resolution.
- Code Repository Management: Oversee the version control of code using tools such as GIT or TFS to ensure seamless collaboration and code maintenance.
- Process Automation: Automate various processes including database deployment, data imports and exports, and overall data handling workflows.
- Database Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure database processes are well-documented and easily accessible for future reference.
- Production Support: Provide timely support and resolution for any production issues, maintaining system stability and reliability.
- Collaborative Requirement Gathering: Work closely with business users, support teams, and developers to collect and understand requirements for database solutions and enhanc ements.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
- Collaborate with Project stakeholders and Drive the team to complete the deliverables
- Proven success on Data Engineer roles in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.).
Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000 a year
