Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Product Manager located in Pune. The Software Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing software product development, managing projects, and ensuring product success through effective product management practices. They will work on a day-to-day basis to align product development with business objectives and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision, strategy and roadmap in alignment with company goals.
• Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, working closely with customers, UX teams, scrum & engineering teams, and management.
• Write clear and concise product requirement documents.
• Manage the product roadmap, ensuring it is up-to-date and prioritized according to business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, UX, QA, and marketing, to deliver high-quality products on time.
• Participate in agile activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance, using data-driven insights to inform decisions and improve future releases.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product-related queries and updates.
• Mentor and guide other product owners and team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  
  

Experience

• 10+ years Product Management EXPERIENCE in DATA and DATA MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE.
• Strong TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, writing requirement documentation, user stories and associated acceptance criteria.
• Experience working in an AGILE delivery environment.
• Experience defining product features (viz. SLM, LLM, Risk scoring etc.) based on Web application UI, Installer, AI/ML technologies, storage protocols/devices (NFSv3, S3, SMB, SharePoint, etc.), Big data (Apache spark, ElasticSearch etc.), ETL technologies.
• Experience defining features, including reporting/extraction (PowerBI, Tableau etc.) for large enterprise environments.
• Experience defining NFR (Non-functional requirements) i.e. performance and scaling for various product features.
• Experience defining PRDs for B2B storage products based on cloud frameworks [viz. MS Azure, AWS, GCP etc.]
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
  
  

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple features simultaneously.

Experience working with UX teams to translate customer needs into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.

Ability to influence and drive change across the organization.

Experience with design & agile project management tools such as Figma, Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello, or similar.

Knowledge of current trends and advancements in the storage solutions industry.

Education: B.E/ B.Tech, M.E/ M.Tech Computer Science or equivalent.
