Job Title: EAM Consultant with Data Conversion Location: Montreal , Canada (Onsite) Hiring Mode : Contract Responsibilities Assists with implementation of SAP Solutions as a member of an EAM team assigned to a specific client. Provides consulting services on which SAP EAM application/solution is most appropriate for each client, and provides assistance with designing, configuring, set-up, developing, integrating, testing, and deploying that solution. Essential Functions: Functions as an individual contributor on a team to ensure successful implementation of SAP EAM solutions. Conducts process analysis by gathering and evaluating the clients’ business requirements to determine how to best configure the software to meet their needs. Summarizes client needs including identifying functional and technical specifications and writing code to configure system to meet requirements. Interacts with various members of the client’s organization and internal specialists, e.g. Project Managers, Team Leads, other Consultants and Analysts. Writes functional specifications, creates documentation, and completes data conversions to facilitate the configuration and implementation process. Attends and provides specific expertise during client meetings. Adheres to software implementation standards and best practices. Troubleshoots and provides resolution of system issues or defects, as assigned. Builds test scripts and reports and trains clients on how to test and use the system. Assists with preparation of training materials. Provides basic systems and functionality training and knowledge transfer to clients, administrators, and end users. Prepares status updates. Tracks time and expenses to ensure timely system implementation within budget. Completes continuing education activities to attain and maintain professional certifications. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience in a related field. 5 years of experience with SAP EAM configuration experience with at least 1 full lifecycle SAP EAM project. Desired Qualifications: SAP EAM Certification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Advanced knowledge of SAP EAM and related modules (MM, FICO, etc), including configuration. Advanced MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint. Ability to attentively listen and effectively communicate in oral and written format with clients. Ability to build relationships including effectively articulating ideas to various audiences, creating and delivering presentations, facilitating focus groups and workshops. Ability to assess and assist clients with existing systems and optimize their solutions using existing knowledge of system functionality and best practice recommendations. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse project team, deploying the features and functions of SAP products as outlined in the Statement of Work. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, with the ability to implement resolutions. Ability to think in abstracts and logically, diligently asking probing questions and recommending solutions. Ability to establish and manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Data conversion experience in SAP implementation project.
