Our client, a leader in the technology industry, is seeking a Data Center Technician - Technical IT 2 to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the IT department supporting critical operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technician - Technical IT 2

Location: Goodyear, AZ – Onsite

Pay Range: $24-26/HR

What's the Job?

• Prepare, stage, set up, and perform startups and shutdowns of hardware components according to specific instructions and safety protocols.
• Conduct post-execution quality checks to ensure proper setup of grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues promptly, identifying causes and replacing faulty components as needed.
• Decommission hardware for simple changes and refreshes, following standard procedures with minimal guidance.
• Communicate, report, and escalate incidents to appropriate Datacenter Technician Leads effectively.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required.
• 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
• Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and holidays.
