Meta is seeking an experienced and outgoing individual to join our Data Center Policy team to support our strategic engagement on policy issues that impact our global data center operations and site selection efforts. This role will partner closely with our regional policy, economic development, sustainability and energy teams.Bachelor's degree in public policy, economic development, or energy related fields. 5+ years of experience in policy with a focus on using technical policy knowledge to support business needs. Direct experience developing and successfully implementing government affairs and outreach strategies, including policies that relate to energy and sustainability. Experience prioritizing and completing multiple goals in a quickly changing environment Demonstrated experience in the development and successful implementation of strategic initiatives. Demonstrated experience in working with large cross-functional groups, including technical teams. 3+ years experience in managing complex policy related initiatives related to data center, economic development, utility, manufacturing or other large infrastructure projects.
