Summary

Our client is a global leading real estate firm with Data Center solutions business unit, working closely with hyperscalers and expanding aggressively around the globe, currently seeking for a Data Center Operations Manager with strong technical skills and customer-facing experience to join their expanding team in Thailand.


As the Data Center Operations Manager, you are responsible for managing data center operation, maintenance, and overseeing modification of all critical environment systems including mechanical, electrical, fire protection system and Building Monitoring System. The successful candidate will be strong on critical operations function management, effective daily leadership, and administration of data center critical operations and 24x7 crews.


Responsibilities:


- Data Center Operations

Ensure professional execution of all tasks related to building management system monitoring, incident, problem, and change management from the data center.


- Service Level Agreements (SLA)

Ensure compliance with customer SLAs, covering aspects like environmental conditions, system uptime, incident escalation, and reporting.


- Procedure Compliance

Develop, update, and execute necessary Maintenance, Standard Operating, and Emergency Operating Procedures (MOP/SOP/EOP), training the team accordingly.


- Change Management

Handle Change Request Forms, work method statements, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures under the Change Management Workflow Process.


- Leadership and Management

Oversee the critical operations functions, providing daily leadership and administration for 24x7 crews. Focus on safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of critical engineering infrastructure to meet cost-effective goals.


- Expertise

Serve as a subject matter expert in areas like critical electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring these meet customer needs and aim for 100% uptime.



Requirements:


  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Facility Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.
  • 10 years and above related working experience
  • CDCP or CDFOM preferred
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel & Word, BMS, CMMS/DCIM, ERP, Microsoft BI, PowerBI
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail to effectively address complex challenges and drive operational excellence in data center management.
