Our client is on the hunt for Data Center Engineers who are ready to dive into a hands-on role! If you love working directly with hardware, networking, and system design — this is the opportunity for you.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Install, relocate, and recover network, server, and storage hardware — always following the highest industry and manufacturer standards.
• Design and build next-generation data center fabrics using VXLANs, BGP, and OSPF.
• Perform monthly audits to spot and report any variances and maintain accurate asset records — tracking by location and status.
• After any hardware changes or installations, update documentation to keep everything aligned and compliant.
• Conduct daily housekeeping checks in data halls — your attention to detail will help keep everything running smoothly.
• Manage copper and fiber patch leads, patch panels, and connectors — making sure they're properly maintained and reported.

What You Bring to the Table:

✅ 5+ years of experience working in data center environments

✅ 5+ years as a hands-on engineer

✅ Familiarity with a wide range of hardware: HP, Dell, Nokia, Ciena, Cisco, Juniper, Arista

✅ Configuration skills on Cisco and Arista networking gear

✅ A deep understanding of IP networks

✅ Experience working in an ITIL-controlled environment (Change Control, Incident Management, Problem Management)
