Summary

Data Center Engineer (Junior Engineer and Middle Engineer)


Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience as Data Center Engineer or Data Center Facility or similar technical roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, such as chillers, centrifugal refrigeration systems, fans, cooling towers, AHUs, and pumps, will be an advantage.
  • Understand basic power calculations on singlle and 3-phase circuits.
  • Have experience working with maintenance management systems.
  • Understand and have experience in developing SOPs, work plans, MOPs, or other operational documentation.
  • Good command of English, positive attitude, professional, responsible, hardworking, and eager to learn.
  • A good team player with an excellent attitude and the ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed.
  • Willing to work in Shifting and willing to work in Data Center in Banking sector.


SOW (Scope of Work):

  • Manage routine inspections and maintenance of the infrastructure supporting data center operations and be comfortable with 24/7 critical environment infrastructure and data center equipment requirements, reporting directly to the Facility Manager.
  • Perform and supervise the maintenance of the data center core facility in providing the required services for customers in terms of mechanical, electrical, fire system, automation, and network.
  • Own and participate in all site-level mechanical system issues, such as HVAC systems, chillers, centrifugal refrigeration systems, cooling towers, In Row Cooling, AHUs, pumps, water treatment, etc., during the project execution phase.
  • Develop reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) analysis to optimize the performance and efficiency of data center operations.
  • Analyze and evaluate data center sub-system performances, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations for upgrades.
  • Analyze and coordinate maintenance and safety procedures, from maintaining redundant high-capacity cooling systems to operating and supporting data center backup electrical systems (diesel generators, rotary uninterruptable power supplies (UPS), etc.).
  • Provide detailed information on the design and operation of the data center facilities to consultants, subcontractors, the field installation team, and the customer if required.
  • Embody a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of the BDDC environment and activities.
