About the role - You will:
1. Monitor computer systems and mission / business critical applications to ensure they function efficiently.
2. Monitor IT and Factory Infrastructure, Network and Firewalls availability and respond to the alerts effectively
3. Monitor Seagate’s Global Application Support System and respond to the alert effectively
4. Communicate with internal IT Engineers over-the-phone or face-to-face to assist them in escalating the issues to SME.
5. Follow instructions contained in knowledge-based document when conducting repairs (Level 1)
6. Establish and maintain positive trust relationship with customers and with data specialists such as programmers
7. Produce shift status reports to communicate shift operations and issues to superiors
8. Implement procedures, policies, and standards to ensure work operations are effective
9. Initiate Severity 1 calls and follow the process to call Sev 1 Manager & SMEs
About You :
1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer networking/hardware, or in other related disciplines.
2. Good communication skills in English. Able to produce concise reports on data center, network and security operations.
3. Interpersonal Skill: Data center operators can work with other IT support and other data center personnel to ensure up-time maximization
4. Highly collaborative, team-oriented and an effective communicator
5. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
6. Able to work shift 24x7 is a must
Your Experience Include:
1. More than 2 years' experience in Data Center and/or Network and Security Operations with knowledge in MS Windows, UNIX, Linux or FreshService or ServiceNow
2. Good understanding of IT hardware (servers, networking, storage devices).

3. Ability to follow standard operating procedures and escalate issues as needed.
4. Familiar and have experience working with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Nagios, SolarWinds, Splunk and others
5. Experience in supporting network operations such as LAN, WAN, Firewall. CCNA will be an added advantage
6. Experience in supporting security operations such as Malware detection, SIEM and other tool
