Job Description
The Data Center and Cloud Analyst assists the SVP of Data Center in achieving the revenue objectives of the Data Center and Cloud Practice. They will perform all the activities necessary to be successful in that endeavor which include developing relationships with Suppliers, Strategists and internal employees, perform technical assessments and write proposals for solutions and attend meetings and calls with Clients.
Role Responsibilities - Sales Support
- Supports the development of sales opportunities and provides consultancy to aid customers in the development of their requirements.
- Understand customer’s requirements, assists in the qualification processes, and use Bridgepointe’s supplier product and services portfolio to create suitable solutions.
- Provide technical notes from customer discovery calls to Bridgepointe Sales Agents and update Salesforce Opportunities with Technical Notes and Opportunity Engagements.
- Manage the Registration of opportunities with appropriate suppliers
- Authors the Technical Sections of Proposals for prospective customers and where necessary works closely with supplier engineering teams to define acceptable solution proposals.
- Assist in running RFQs/RFIs/RFX process for customers as appropriate
- Funnel Management
- Upkeep of Funnel and Booked Deals in Salesforce.com
- Supplier Engagement / Market Research
- Attend Supplier Meetings to stay current on Latest Offerings in the marketplace.
- Complete Supplier Trainings on an as needed basis to broaden product expertise.
- Engage with Industry Analysts to understand market trends.
- Do market research to gather data for regional data center assessment as needed by our clients
- Assets and Sales Tools
- Assist Marketing with creation of Technical Job Aids and Corporate Collateral
- Manage Supplier Data Center Capacity Report and reach out to supplier weekly for updates
- Create and manage project-based RFQ template
- Participate in Data Center Training
- Meeting Activity KPIs
- Engagements (meetings / calls)
- Funnel Influence
- Bookings Influence
- Sold Data Center and Cloud revenue versus goal (company-wide)
- Other projects and activities as needed / requested
Qualifications & Proficiencies
- Minimum of 5+ Years in a similar position supporting similar products and services.
- Professional technical certifications will be considered.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional level of customer service, professionalism, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player, willing to share ideas, driven to improve processes.
- Self-motivated, completes tasks, interested in learning new ideas, embraces change, achieves results, high performer.
- High level of comfort with technology solutions.
- Proficient in the complete suite of Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with recurring revenue business and services companies preferred.
- B.S. degree preferred.
