Apply Job Type Full-time Description Position Purpose and Objectives Aid the VP, Data Analytics in the Strategic Data Management of the Credit Union by analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. Major Duties and Essential Functions * Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using data-driven approaches. * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. * Develop and maintain business process models, workflows, and documentation. * Perform data analysis using SQL and other analytical tools to support business needs. * Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights. * Present insights and recommendations to management for decision making and strategic planning with effective communication and presentation skills. * Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, data architects, and other team members to ensure data quality and integrity. * Provide data-driven insights and analysis to understand drivers of performance. * Create new data-driven approaches for generating business insights through business analysis. * Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in business analysis and data analytics. * Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills. * Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. * Ability to work unguided and independently. Positions directly supervised: None Requirements Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position: * Proficiency in SQL and Power BI. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Experience with business process modeling and documentation. * Ability to make critical decisions related to business process improvements and data analysis. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent certifications. Experience: Minimum five years of similar or related experience.
