What you'll do? * Collaborate closely with data leaders to drive sales, account management, solutioning, and operational excellence across the practice * Help grow our Data & Analytics practice in the DMV area, with a particular focus on modern data platforms like Databricks, by leading delivery efforts, nurturing talent, and driving strategic client relationships * Act as a Databricks SME, supporting business development efforts and guiding clients through best practices in architecture, data engineering, and scalable analytics * Drive innovation and performance through a team-based approach that values output, ownership, and employee wellbeing * Lead and manage project risk-including planning, budgeting, deliverables, and executive-level alignment * Deepen Slalom's presence in the market by developing proposals, SOWs, and strategies to grow our footprint within existing accounts * Provide technical and architectural guidance on Databricks, modern data platforms, and cloud-native solutions to both clients and Slalom team members * Be a mentor and thought leader, regularly recommending emerging technologies and tools that align with client goals and future-state data strategies * Bring a business-first lens to every conversation, driving impactful, tech-enabled outcomes that elevate our clients' competitive edge * Embody Slalom's core values and culture, bringing authenticity, curiosity, and care into every interaction And, what will I bring? * 10+ years of experience delivering data solutions, with a strong focus on modern data stacks * 5+ years in consulting, including a proven track record of growing client relationships and winning new business * Expertise in Databricks architecture, implementation, and solutioning (Lakehouse, Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalog, etc.) * Proven success leading high-performing, positive teams through complex client engagements * Clear and confident communication, with strong executive presence and a consultative mindset * Deep experience managing projects across analytics, data strategy, architecture, and modern platforms * Ability to juggle multiple client engagements while mentoring teams and pushing for innovation * A proactive, creative mindset-constantly seeking better ways to solve tough technical and business challenges * Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms including Databricks, Azure, AWS, and Snowflake Compensation and Benefits Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life.
