Position Title: Data Architect

Location: Houston, TX OR Plano, TX

Duration: 8+ Months (Contract to hire)

Job Description:

• Highly proficient in data architecture disciplines with proficiency in the other disciplines
• Highly proficient in the architecture and design of at least a single functional area

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Recommends data movement architecture that is scalable, secure and can perform data completeness checks.
• Provides data mapping for entity is being backed up and validates it is in a SOR.
• Reviews data fields to ensure consistency from end to end.
• Represents the data architecture team at technical governance bodies and provides feedback regarding proposed improvements regarding data architecture governance practices
• Evaluates new and current technologies using existing data architecture standards and frameworks
• Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Design secure, high-quality, scalable solutions and reviews architecture solutions designed by others
• Drives data architecture decisions that impact data product and platform design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
• Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.

• AWS experience is helpful and on prem architectures.
