This position is onsite in the San Gabriel / Pasadena area. * Designing, implementing, and managing data lakehouse environment within Microsoft Fabric. * Build a robust and scalable data platform What you will be doing * Design and implement a modern data lakehouse architecture within Microsoft Fabric,leveraging OneLake, Spark, and Delta Lake * Define data ingestion, processing, and storage strategies * Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models t * Establish data governance policies and procedures * Ensure data quality and security * Implement appropriate access controls and data masking techniques * Implementation and maintenance of the data lakehouse environment * Build and optimize data pipelines * ETL / ELT processes * Implement data quality checks and validation rules * Monitor the performance and health of the data lakehouse, identifying and resolving any issues * Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Microsoft Fabric * Evaluate new features and functionalities to enhance the data lakehouse environment * Communicate technical concepts and designs for technical and non-technical stakeholders on data lakehouse architecture * Development and maintenance of data architecture documentation and standards What you will need: * 5+ years of experience in data architecture * Understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services * Microsoft Fabric * Experience with OneLake, Spark, Synapse * SQL and data modeling techniques * Design and implement scalable data structures * Experience in data governance and data quality management Highly Preferred: * Experience with Delta Lake and Spark * Data processing and analytics frameworks * Data security and privacy best practices * Agile development methodologies * Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Certifications: * Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate * Job details *
